| Legend states that Almaradia was once a paradise blessed by the Heavens*; however after many millennia people began to ignore the blessing they’d been granted. Even still the world remained a paradise and Heaven continued to watch over his people, even though it pained him to do so. After continuing with their disgrace the heavens could take it no longer and they abandoned this land, taking their light with them. A small glow remained in the word from where they had been, slowly fading further away with the endless passing of time. Now only a flicker of that light remains; enough of a light to cast a shadow.
*Heaven is not an accurate term it is merely the name I chose for the holy presence that left the world behind.
